For verification, you must enter on Online your confirmation number, issued after registering in the lottery. If you see a letter with a barcode and your data on the page that opened, you won! However, before receiving the coveted green card, you need to go through several stages as quickly as possible, about which we wrote earlier.
It should also be understood that receiving a notification of winning a green card does not guarantee applicants receiving it. In order to emigrate to the United States, you must meet all the requirements that apply to applicants for an immigration visa.
The green card is a certificate of a permanent resident of the United States who does not have the citizenship of this state.
A green card entitles you to:
- enter / leave the USA
- work in any company
- start a business
- education benefits (apply for grants financed by the government; pay 3-4 less for tuition)
- opportunity to apply for citizenship
- social security at retirement
