The Boeing 777 airliner, which was supposed to fly along the Khabarovsk-Moscow route, when taxiing to the runway at the airport of departure, touched the wing of the An-24 aircraft with a wing.
There were no casualties as a result of this incident, the wing of the Boeing plane was deformed, and the tail of the An-24 was damaged, a TASS correspondent reports from the airport.
“We were taxiing for takeoff, then they announced that for technical reasons the flight was delayed by 9 hours. Judging by what we saw, the plane on which we were supposed to fly to Moscow “kissed” while maneuvering with another plane - the An-24. They let us back into the airport terminal and said that the flight would be at 23:30,” said the TASS correspondent.
Rosaviatsiya will investigate the reasons for the collision, and the Far Eastern Transport Prosecutor's Office will provide a legal assessment of the incident after verification.
