Russia has made a pancake rating of regions

A study of the prices of products necessary for the celebration of Shrovetide has been published. As it turned out, in different regions of Russia the cost of a portion of pancakes can vary by more than twice.

In compiling the rating, the cost of ingredients per serving of 30 pancakes was taken as a basis. It turned out that the cheapest way to prepare them would be in Mordovia - in 62,91 rubles. For the Saratov region, the required amount was 62,97 rubles, and for the Vologda region - 63,13 rubles.

The highest expenses were for a holiday table for residents of the Far East and the Far North. Thus, in the Magadan region, the same amount of pancakes will cost 123,4 rubles, in Kamchatka, 130,01 rubles, and in the Chukotka Autonomous Region, 143,54 rubles.

According to researchers, the most expensive ingredient is milk, followed by flour and eggs. Prices for sunflower oil and sugar do not have a noticeable effect on the cost of servings, since these products are needed in small quantities.
