In Russia, compiled a list of data on Internet users for the transfer of the FSB

The Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of Russia has compiled a list of data that companies included in the register of organizers of distributors of information will have to provide for operational search activities. This is reported by the TV channel Rain .
According to the draft order, Internet companies will have to collect and store pseudonyms of users, their real names, dates of birth, identifiers of identity documents, information about relatives and about what languages a person speaks.
In addition, the organizers of the dissemination of information will be obliged to provide correspondence users, recording conversations, transferred files and information about the payments made.
"Spring Law", which was accepted in 2016, it obliges telecom operators and Internet providers from 1 July, 2018, to store information about the content of calls and user correspondence for several months. They will have to transfer this data to the FSB as part of operational search activities.
The register of organizers of distributors of information includes “Yandex” and Mail.ru, social networks VKontakte and Odnoklassniki. At the end of June, the registry was also entered Telegramhowever, its founder Pavel Durov stated that the messenger team will not comply with the “Spring law”.
Recall that earlier Putin signed law on the regulation of instant messengers, obliging to identify users by phone number and refuse to exchange messages if this condition is not met.
