In Russia, a migrant traded child at home
In the Lipetsk region, investigators opened a criminal case on the fact of the sale of a child on a web ad. The father of the injured boy, who wanted to solve housing problems, was involved in the crime.
The 24-year-old resident of Kazakhstan, living in Lipetsk, decided to sell his three-year-old son, for which he posted a corresponding announcement on the Internet. When a potential buyer was found, the attacker made an appointment with him on the evening of July 10 on Victory Avenue in Lipetsk. During the transaction, the father of a young child was supposed to get 1,5 million rubles (27 thousand dollars), but instead was detained by operatives.
During interrogation, the man explained that “he acted solely with the best intentions, because he wanted to place his son in a good family.”
In addition, the attacker planned to improve his own position by buying a house with the money from the sale of his son.
The boy’s mother left the child with her father back in the summer of 2014, returning home to Kazakhstan.
It should be noted that this is the second case of children being sold in Russia via the Internet this week. Last Monday, the investigative authorities of Yakutia announced the detention of a 26-year-old woman who decided to get rid of her baby. The transaction amount was the same - 1,5 million rubles (27 thousand dollars).
