In Paris, a crowd of 40 people attacked two Jews
Two Jewish men were attacked in Paris on Friday afternoon, local Jewish media reported.
According to the National Bureau of Vigilance against anti-Semitism (Bureau national de vigilance contre l'antisémitisme, BVNCA), two young people, aged about 20 years, were attacked by a group of about 40 people.
Both were slightly injured.
As noted in the BVNCA, the attackers were associated with local pro-Palestinian groups and the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement.
According to the French police, the incident occurred at 14: 30 local time on Friday, May 1, on Voltaire Boulevard in the 11 district of Paris.
This is not the first attack. on the Jews in France. In the majority of attacks are committed by immigrants from Arab countries.
On Voltaire Boulevard in 2006, 23-year-old French Jew Ilan Halimi was abducted. He was subsequently tortured and murdered.
