In the "Panama dossier" found a link between Hillary Clinton and the Kremlin

In the Panama Papers, which contains information about offshore companies of businessmen from various countries, they found information about a possible connection between the Kremlin and Hillary Clinton’s team, which is going to compete for the US presidency.

Article Observer Journalist John Schindler writes about Sberbank, Russia's largest bank, which uses The Podesta Group as its lobbyist in Washington. This company was founded by Tony Podesta in 1998 along with his brother John. The latter was once chief of staff to President Bill Clinton and later became an adviser to President Barack Obama.

The article indicates that Tony Podesta is now in search of large funds to fund the presidential campaign of Hillary Clinton. His brother and co-founder, John Podesta, is the chairman of the Clinton electoral headquarters.

The fact that the American company will work with Sberbank, it became known in March. The article suggests that Sberbank uses the services of the Podesta Group to improve its image and alleviate the painful consequences of the sanctions imposed against Russia due to the annexation of the Ukrainian Crimean Peninsula.

The main shareholder of Sberbank is the Central Bank of Russia. In other words, Sberbank, although it is a private institution, is functionally considered the “arm” of the Kremlin.

OCCRP, a consortium of journalists studying the Panama Papers, note that money flowing through Sberbank constantly goes to support “covert Russian intelligence operations,” and the bank uses its foreign offices as a front for the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service.

A NATO counterintelligence officer said that Sberbank employees, who have branches in dozens of countries, were secretly working in Russian intelligence.

The article also reveals the existence of branches of the bank, the logistics of which is also the firm Podesta Group. For example, the branch of Troika Dialog Group Limited is registered in the Cayman Islands, the branch of SBGB Cyprus Limited and SB International is registered in Cyprus. In the course of the OCCRP investigation, it became known that the affiliate of Troika Bank is used by the approximate President of Russia Vladimir Putin. Through this branch, public funds are held for a dubious type of private investment.

If Clinton wins the upcoming election, the Podesta brothers will most likely receive high posts in the White House. Then she and her team will have to give explanations about their relationship with Sberbank of Russia.
