The most eared goat in the world was born in Pakistan: this cutest creature conquered social networks

A goat from Pakistan with unusually long ears has become a star. The animal claims the record for the length of its ears. The edition told in more detail The Guardian.

Simba the goat lives in Karachi, where he was born in June with strikingly long ears that have grown to 54 cm.

Simba's breeder, Mohammad Hassan Narejo, says he reached out to the Guinness World Records to see if he could be included in the list of the greatest goats of all time, although the organization's website does not have a "longest-eared goat" category.

Narejo said: “After 10-12 days after his birth, he already appeared in all national and international media and won a beauty contest. In 30 days he became so popular that it would take even a famous person 25-30 years to reach this level of fame.”

Simba's ears are so long that Narejo has to throw them over his back to keep the goat from stepping on them. He also designed the harness so that Simba could wear his ears around his neck.

Narejo is wary of the attention Simba is getting, including from rival breeders, and prays to ward off any malevolence.

“We read verses from the Koran and blow on it to ward off the evil eye,” Narejo said. “Following a long tradition that we inherited from our elders, we fastened a black thread around him, reinforced with verses from the Koran.”

Narejo plans to raise Simba to promote Pakistan as a goat farming country.

“The Pakistani Simba will be known to the whole world,” he concluded.
