A fire occurred in a hotel in Las Vegas: 6 dead, more than 10 wounded
In Las Vegas (Nevada) on Saturday, December 21, there was a fire. According to authorities, at least 6 people were killed and 13 more were injured. Writes about it Fox News.
A fire broke out in the three-story Alpine Motel Apartments complex in downtown Las Vegas. According to the initial data, the fire arose accidentally.
The fire department said earlier that five injured were in critical condition and that several residents looked out of the windows when firefighters arrived. Several of them jumped and were injured, the department said.
Tim Szymanski, an employee of the fire department’s public information department, said the fire broke out on the ground floor of the building and then spread. Strong smoke and heat emanated from the building.

The incident occurred around 4:15. The Red Cross has announced that it has set up an aid center for injured people in a nearby school.
At least 50 people were displaced by the fire. The damage is currently valued at $ 475.
Not a single fireman was injured.
This fire could be the second deadliest fire after the 1980 fire at MGM Grand Hotel, where more than 80 people died.
