Oklahoma cop rescues immigrant on his 'happiest day'

In oklahoma the police in Facebook shared a touching story about an immigrant, an officer and a very important ceremony.

According to Oklahoma City Police, on the most important day for the Ethiopian immigrant - taking the oath - the man literally flew off the left tire from the wheel. When an officer arrived to help the driver, he was extremely upset.

He told the policeman that he came to the city with a specific goal - to become a US citizen. To do this, he worked on a pig farm for five years. But he may not make it to the swearing-in ceremony due to a broken car.

According to the police, the officer decided to help the man: he called a tow truck, then put him in his car and brought him to the place of taking the oath.

After that, he drove a freshly baked US citizen to a repair shop, where employees congratulated him, police say. He even let out a few tears, although the whole cost could be the cost of repairing a car.

The officer said that his son is now abroad. He understands that helping in a hopeless situation is very important and, perhaps, someone will help his son as well.

“I thought if I help him, maybe someone out there will help my boy,” the post reads.

Facebook users thanked the officer for his kindness, and the newly made citizen.
