In Ohio, a school employee found a bag from the 1950s and found out about the fate of the owner: touching photos
A school worker in the USA found a mysterious bag from the 1950s. Through social networks, he found out who her owner is, writes news.mail.ru.
An employee of a school in the North Canton city of America named Chaz Pyle made an unexpected find during a renovation in 2019 - he found an old woman's handbag between the wall and the students' lockers. The man suggested that she was lost in the 1950s, CNN writes.
The man did not disclose the contents of the bag, but decided to find its owner with the help of social networks. He posted the announcement on the school’s Facebook page and waited for a response that came only a few months later.
It turned out that the bag belonged to a former school student named Patti Rumfola, who spent her whole life in the North Canton and died in 2013.
Patti's children responded to the school's message, who were allowed to publish the contents of her mother’s school bag. So, in a purse lay a purse with a trifle, movie tickets, membership cards, library memberships and a couple of circles, class schedules and sports training, black and white photographs, a hairbrush, powder and lipstick, as well as other little things, including chewing gum.
The school management handed over the find to the Patti family, and they, in turn, provided mother's photographs to show people what the mistress of the bag was.
