In New York, a woman who killed a baby to death and killed the unborn child of actress Broadway, was found dead.
44-year-old Dorothy Burns faced 15 years of imprisonment after being charged in March with manslaughter, criminal negligent murder, reckless threat and assault after a car accident. Burns suffered from multiple sclerosis, and before the accident, doctors forbade her to drive.
5 March Burns was driving when she had a fit. She stopped at a red light, but then lost control of her car and hit one-year-old Joshua Lew and 4-year-old Abigail Blumstein, who crossed the road with their mothers, who were also injured. Pregnant mother Abigail, actress Ruthie Ann Myles later lost her unborn child. Mile won the "Tony" award in 2015 for her role in the film "King and Me."
Dorothy Burns said she tried to avoid a collision with a car and therefore turned off the road. According to her, she remembers how she came to herself after the incident, but the woman does not remember that she ran into people.
In September, Burns was released on bail of $ 75 000.
Local media reported that Burns found on Wednesday near the jars of prescription pills and a farewell note, but the police did not confirm these details.
According to eyewitnesses to the incident, a womanthe driver ignored the red light traffic lights at the intersection of 9 Street and Fifth Avenue in Park slope, knocking down a pregnant woman and two children, one of whom was in a stroller.
