New York Lottery starts
There are 60 studios, one and two bedroom apartments.
In a massive building that captures almost the entire area between Greenpoint Avenue and Calyer Street, which is at Greenpoint's McGuinness Boulevard, a housing lottery has started.

60 housing units are available in the lottery, including 5 studios, 28 one-bedroom apartments and 7 two-bedroom apartments at: 211 McGuinness Blvd Brooklyn, NY 11222. Their price ranges from $ 1,045 to $ 1,276.
To participate in the lottery, an applicant for a studio must earn from $ 72 206 to $ 58 480 per year. Those who want to rent a one-room apartment for $ 1 064 per month should have an annual income of $ 44 675 - $ 58 480 (one person) and $ 44 675 - $ 66 800, if there are two people in a family. One-bedroom apartment for $ 1 276 per month is available on the following conditions: a family of two must have an annual income in the range of $ 53 143 - $ 66 800, a family of three - $ 53 143 - $ 75 120, a family of four - $ 53 143 - $ 83 440.
Amenities will include a fitness center, a pool and a roof garden, a library, a games room, a 24 / 7 doorman, a tenants' hall, a storage room, and parking (some facilities may incur additional charges).

In New York, there is a special program that allows you to rent housing below the market value of low-income residents. To do this, they can apply for participation in the housing lottery. To apply, you must:

To register in NYC Housing Connect You must provide a valid email address and basic contact information. You can update this information at any time. Only one account per household is allowed.
- Fill out information about your household.
You will be asked to provide detailed information on employment and income (on you and all household members). Once you have started the application process, you can save the application and return to it at any time. To apply, you must fill in all required fields.
To submit an application, click on the “Submit Application” button for any of the residential properties for which you are entitled to apply. For one residential object you can submit no more than one application. The application must be submitted no later than the deadline. You will be contacted in the event that your application is randomly selected at the stage of the initial registration of the lease or sale. Please note that due to the large number of applications it is impossible to contact each applicant for each project. You can view all the projects for which you have applied for in the Residential Property List (“Search” tab). Here you can check whether the application has expired or is expired. Applicants are not required to pay an application fee, but they may be charged for a credit check that is not refundable.
You will also be contacted if your application is rejected for any of the following reasons:
- The household does not meet the established requirements (such as income) for participation in the program in which housing was built.
- The household received more than one application for a residential property, which led to its cancellation.
