Eight people were shot on Saturday night to Sunday in various incidents throughout New York City on 6. Several shootings occurred just a few minutes walk from each other, police said.
Two men were shot during a fight on Madison Street in Brooklyn around 00: 15 in the morning.
The 35-year-old injured his right leg and is in a stable condition in the hospital.
After some time, another 20-year-old who was injured arrived at the hospital Woodhull with a gunshot wound in the area of the buttocks and explained that he was injured in the same place as the first person.
Four minutes later, two more men were injured in Harlem. The 24-year-old victim was hit in the stomach and admitted to Harlem Hospital. An 44-year-old man with a wound to the abdomen was also taken to the same hospital. Both must survive, police said.
In Queens, an 19-year-old man was shot in the back after a fight at a party around 00: 49 in the morning. Witnesses told the police that the victim himself did not fight. The suspect fled the scene.
The victim was taken to Jameika Hospital for treatment. Police said the bullet hit him in the spine.
Back in Brooklyn, an 22-year-old was injured in the leg and around 2: 30 in the morning was taken to Kings county hospital with a non-life threatening injury.
About 30 minutes later, an 29-year-old woman received a gunshot wound at Brownsville. She was taken to hospital Brookdale in a stable condition.
No one was arrested in any of the incidents, according to police.
