“Reliability of facts is very important, and this is a big problem in our time. I think this is very important - many of my friends are able to share with me completely obvious fakes. Personally, whenever I doubt something, I check the accuracy of the information in several sources,” said Brendan Strauss, a newspaper buyer at the kiosk.
New Yorker Andrea believes that the idea of exposing fakes in such a creative way is very interesting.
The founders explained the choice of the opening date - on the eve of the elections - by the fact that reliable information before voting is especially important.
A tent with fake magazines is set up in a busy area of Manhattan - on the corner of 42nd Street and 6th Avenue.
