A patient with symptoms of Ebola fever was hospitalized in New York after returning from Guinea.
Newspaper New York Post and a number of other media outlets citing representatives of the New York City Fire Department, who were the first to arrive on an emergency call, reported on Wednesday that a patient with Ebola symptoms was admitted to the city hospital.
Hospital representatives did not specify the age and gender of the patient. It is noted that he will undergo various tests to determine the nature of the disease.
The outbreak of Ebola was recorded in February in Guinea on 2014, then the virus spread to neighboring Sierra Leone and Liberia. Since the beginning of the epidemic, 11145 people have died from the disease in three of these countries, and 27135 has become infected with a dangerous virus.
