In New Jersey, a teacher was dismissed, who called Santa Claus a myth
A teacher at a school in the US state of New Jersey was fired after she told the children that there was no Santa Claus.
The teacher told first-grade students that their parents actually put gifts under the tree, writes Mail.ru In addition, she called the myths of the story about the Easter Bunny, flying Christmas reindeer, elves, leprechauns and the tooth fairy.
The children were very upset because of the words of the woman, many people came out of the lesson in tears. Parents were outraged by this behavior of the teacher.
School principal Michael Raj also called such statements unacceptable, as they destroy the faith of children on Christmas. In this case, the teacher is not a permanent employee of the school. She simply replaced the other teacher.
School inspector Rene Rovtar also stated that she was disappointed with this behavior, and noted that the teacher would no longer work in the area. She declined further comment.
