Nevada became the fifth state in the United States, where stores began selling marijuana for recreational purposes. As expected, Las Vegas stores will be the leaders in marijuana sales thanks to the millions of tourists who come here to relax and have some fun.

The store lined up for marijuana shortly after midnight on Saturday, July 1. Its discovery occurred just a few months after voters approved the legalization of marijuana.

People have been waiting for the moment of opening the store.

Those who are older than 21 and have a valid ID can buy up to an ounce (28 grams) potions. Presumably, every third customer is a tourist. But people can use this drug only in private homes.

In public places, including the Las Vegas Strip, casinos, bars, restaurants, parks, conference centers and concert halls frequented by tourists, smoking is prohibited. Violators face a $ 600 fine.

And driving under the influence of marijuana is still illegal.

Despite the restrictions on advertising, shops are well prepared for the opening. They printed ads and also announced special offers.

Desert grain farms hired about 60 additional staff.

Some stores went to social networks to try to attract customers. Some planned to give free marijuana to their first 100 customers.

Some stores are located in shopping centers, while others, in the traditional style of Las Vegas, are located in areas with strip clubs.

Nevada joined Colorado, Oregon, Washington and Alaska, allowing adults to buy drugs that are still banned by the federal government.
