On Saturday, February 16, a man and a woman from Arizona went camping in Zion National Park in Utah. A few hours later, a man stepped on the quicksand and knee-deep into it. Pull the leg alone could not.

After the call, the rescuers of the national park came out in search of tourists. At the beginning of the route, they found a woman suffering from hypothermia. Finding a man was harder. By the time the rescuers got to him, he spent ten hours in quicksand.

The victim was assisted, but the immediate return was prevented by heavy snowfall, due to which the thickness of the snow cover in Zion increased by ten centimeters. In the morning after the tourist sent a helicopter from Salt Lake City. Difficult weather conditions delayed the rescue for a few more hours.

The tourist was taken to a local hospital. He suffered from hypothermia and the effects of prolonged contact with water. In addition, he had injuries. Now his health is not in danger.
