In Moscow, a cafe exploded: 12 affected. VIDEO

In the Russian capital, in a cafe on Aviation Street an explosion occurred, as a result of which at least 12 people were injured. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported the incident in his Twitter.

Users of social networks first reported that the car service exploded where they detonated the cylinders, and published a video from the scene. But the city authorities deny this version. What do eyewitnesses say?

“I was working, I just washed the car,” he says.KP» one of the witnesses to the incident, car wash employee Farukh. “I heard an explosion and immediately ran out into the street. My client was already sitting in the car, he also took off immediately.

— Did something explode at your car wash? In the service?

- Not with us for sure. There was an explosion in the cafe, and we were hit by the shock wave.

Three of the four washers were hospitalized. Just like the owner himself. None of the clients was hurt.

It is not yet known how many people were in the cafe at the time of the explosion. But 9 ambulances arrived at the scene. And 5 fire crews. The fire was extinguished very quickly. At the moment, employees of the Moscow Investigative Committee have arrived. The fact that the explosion occurred in the cafe (oriental cuisine) was confirmed by one of the police officers, who did not give his name.

— There was such a powerful explosion. But this building is flimsy. The walls shook. The ceiling almost fell on me,” said a pharmacist from a local pharmacy. — The woman from the optician ran out hysterically. She was also taken to the hospital.

“Basically, all the victims are citizens of neighboring countries: Azerbaijan, Tajikistan,” the police officers working at the scene of the emergency said among themselves.

There are conflagrations and exotic rumors floating around. Some employees of neighboring stores believe that someone planted a Molotov cocktail in the cafe. Allegedly, a car stopped at the entrance and a man with a beard and a black cap jumped inside. But the official version of the fire is a domestic gas explosion.
