During the festive salute in honor of Defender of the Fatherland Day in Moscow, the military plans to make up to 10 thousands of fireworks shots from 72 installations. About this, told reporters the official representative of the Land Forces, Major Kirill Kiselev.

According to him, the firing installations will be placed in 16 various points of the capital, the main of which according to tradition will be Sparrow Hills and Poklonnaya Gora.

Kiselev said that in Alabino near Moscow, training began for the units of the 449-nd separate salute division of the district, which ensures the conduct of the festive salute in Moscow. "This unit has already 47 years colors the sky over Moscow during public holidays," - he said.

According to him, the software with which the fireworks are equipped allows us to design and simulate a salute scenario, as well as to achieve an infinite variety of pictures and make the salute colorful and interesting.

By the way, in addition to the modern salute installations, the artillery battery of the division has weapons from the times of the Great Patriotic War. A festive volley from the Poklonnaya Hill in February 23 will produce 76 mm ZIS-3 guns of the 1942 model of the year.
