In Moscow tomorrow, June 10, social activists are going out to a street rally at the US Embassy for the release of illegally detained Russian woman Olga Pimanova with posters: “USA, freedom for illegally detained Olga Pimanova!” and “USA, hands off the Russian child.”

He is currently undergoing treatment.

According to available information, Olga’s daughter is three years old and the child is in Russia. Pimanova is divorced, and there is a dash in the “father” column on the child’s birth certificate. The marriage with the American, whose actions led to the detention of the Russian woman, was short-lived - a year or a year and a half.

“We continue to fight for the rights of the little three-year-old Russian girl Arianna, who is absolutely unreasonably demanded to be brought to the United States by the Illinois court,” Astakhov said. He sharply criticized “this kind of disrespectful and unlawful attitude” towards Russian citizens and children.

“As you can see, the birth certificate indicates the place of birth - Russia and, accordingly, citizenship - Russia. The baby has nothing to do with US jurisdiction!” Astakhov emphasized.

Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry Commissioner for Human Rights, Democracy and the Rule of Law, Konstantin Dolgov, said that the situation with Olga Pimanova is under the control of the Russian Foreign Ministry. According to him, the Russian Embassy in Washington sent a corresponding note to the American authorities. “The Russian citizen will be provided with all the necessary support from our side - consular and legal,” - рассказал Debt information agency Tass.
