In the subway of New York you can now download books for free.
The authorities in New York continue to embed Wi-Fi in the city’s metro to provide Internet access to passengers while they are on the subway.
New York Governor Andrew Cuomo presented the program Subway Readsin which everyone will be able to read 5 adapted works of the classics, including the story by Edgar Poe “Murder on the street Morg”, as well as excerpts of works from the 175 collection of e-books of the publisher Penguin Random House.
If the passenger likes the read, he will be able to purchase the full version directly on the subway, with a portion of the proceeds going to MTA (city transport agency).
An interesting function offered by the publisher is that each story displays the estimated reading time, so that the passenger can assess whether he can complete the work before his station.
