Woman in Miami tortured to death 18 cats

In Miami, activists are asked to sign a petition demanding fair punishment for a woman, Sherin Rochelle Smielen, who tortured 24 cats to death. This is stated on the site Care2petitions.

The court arrested Smilen 16 February 2018 of the year for cruelty to animals. She kept 25 cats in cages without food and water for several days. As a result, 18 cats died, the rest were saved, but the animals were in critical condition. Subsequently, another 4 cat died.

3 days after the arrest, a woman was released on bail of $ 18 thousand.

The petition says that the animals had to eat the corpses of other cats. Some rescued animals began to irreversible processes in the body, and they had to be put to sleep. Neighbors heard the smell of decomposition and called the police.
