California girl survives after being wounded in the heart in Las Vegas
California firefighter Kelly Calbertson saved the life of her 29-year-old girl Christina Kitkat, who was wounded in the heart as a result of the terrorist attack at a country music festival in Las Vegas.
A ticket for a concert a young man gave the girl in honor of her 30 anniversary.
“We heard the sound of fireworks. She said she didn't like anyone bringing fireworks to the concert. Then everyone left, and Christine said she was having trouble breathing,” Culberton recalls.
The guy said that to gather in an emergency situation, he was helped by training, which he passed as a firefighter. Culbertson was helped by firemen, whom the couple met at the concert, Bruce and Trisha Pollett. They helped carry Christine to safety. A former marine, Taylor Winston, hijacked a white van to bring Christine to the hospital as soon as possible.
Culbertson recalls that Christine fainted all the time. Doctors say that her salvation is a miracle. Bullets hit the heart and lungs. Shrapnel left four holes in her heart and holes in her lungs.
