Bigfoot spotted in Colorado: Bigfoot even caught on video

A couple's train ride through rural Colorado has fans of the Bigfoot theory delighted. She posted footage online of a mysterious figure walking through the mountains, which many believe could be that elusive creature. The publication told in more detail Independent.

Shannon Parker and Stetson Tyler were driving from Durango to Silverton and "looking for elk" when they spotted a moving object on the side of a mountain.

Video taken by one of the passengers shows a large bipedal creature walking across the pass, and then stopping and squatting down.

“After leaving Silverton and returning to Durango, I asked Stetson to help me look for elk in the mountains. As we drove past the mountains, Stetson saw something moving and said it was Bigfoot,” Parker wrote on Facebook.

“Brandon, the guy sitting next to Stetson on the train, grabbed his phone and started recording... You know, out of the hundreds of people on the train, three or four of us actually saw Bigfoot. I don’t know about you, but we believe,” she noted.

Parker later clarified that the creature was "at least 6-7 feet (1,8-2,1 m)" and was camouflaged among mountain sage. According to her, the train conductor told them about a similar previous sighting of a non-human.

“He said that he had snowshoeed in these mountains before and had seen footprints that were much larger in size and in step than those made by snowshoes,” Parker said she heard. “He saw inexplicable things.”

Parker's Facebook post received mixed reactions, with some users saying they "believed" and others remaining skeptics.

“And what did you all drink?” — one of the users commented.

According to the National Guard, the legends about Bigfoot are known to us not only from history. They appear all over the world in the form of stories about "hairy men, 7 feet (2,1 m) tall, who live in the forest and periodically frighten tourists, lumberjacks and hikers."

Sightings of the creature, known in other cultures as Bigfoot or Bigfoot, were reported by North American settlers in the late 1800s and 1900s.

Alleged tracks, sightings and even some grainy photographs of the creature continue to fuel the myths, although debate and research continues.

There are now entire organizations dedicated to studying, documenting, and proving Bigfoot's existence, and special teams regularly survey the forests of the Northwest in search of definitive proof.
