In Colorado, the bear came to the wedding and made himself a feast at the table with desserts

A couple from Colorado will never forget their wedding because of an intruder. The celebration that the bear showed up to took place not far from Boulder. The clubfoot climbed onto the dessert table and smashed it, reports ABC7.

Caylin McRossi-Martinez and Brandon Martinez fell in love in high school. They met in biotechnology class while working on a group project together. The lovers thought about secretly getting married at 18, but still decided to wait.

The couple got married on July 31 in the mountains on the outskirts of Boulder.

“The reason we actually chose this place was because it was very close to nature,” Brandon Martinez explained.

Nature also influenced their event.

It all started with a torrential downpour that broke as the couple were about to recite their vows.

“By the time it started to rain in the middle of the ceremony, we and all our guests were soaking wet. But it was amazing! It was absolutely amazing,” said Kaylyn McRossi-Martinez.

But the surprises didn't end there.

As soon as the guests began to dance, an unexpected guest appeared - a bear.

“It’s not often that you walk up to a dessert table and see a bear smash it and eat it all up,” Brandon said.

The newlyweds reported that security officers who arrived on the metho quickly drove the bear away, and no one was hurt.

“I think the lemon bars came first, and then the cannoli, which we were most looking forward to. Unfortunately, there’s nothing left,” Kaylin said jokingly.

But this incident made the wedding day even more memorable.

The young couple say that while there were a few hiccups at the wedding, there were plenty of good moments as well, especially their first dance together as husband and wife.
