In California, 10 people suffered as a result of shooting

On Monday, September 3, in a residential complex in the city of San Bernardino, located in the southwestern United States in California, an unknown person opened fire, which resulted in at least 10 people being injured.

The police noted that three people who were injured as a result of the shooting are now in critical condition.

A year ago, the city of San Bernardino has already appeared in the top news because of primary school shooting: the teacher, the man who shot her and the 8-year-old student at the school died. Cedric Anderson, the former husband of the school teacher Karen Smith, registered at the entrance as a visitor and went to a class with 15 students and two teachers. Without saying a word, he pulled out a large-caliber revolver, which he hid under his clothes during registration, and discharged the entire clip in Smith. Then he reloaded the revolver and shot himself. Two children who were nearby at this moment were injured.

Police later said that one of the wounded schoolchildren, 8-year-old Jonathan Martinez, died in hospital, where he was taken by helicopter. The police claim that the killing of children was not part of Anderson’s plans. He wounded them by chance, because they were nearby.

US Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos made a statement in which she expressed gratitude to the staff of the rescue unit and asked to pray for the victims. “For me, as a mother and grandmother, today's senseless violence is a tragedy that no parent should ever have to face,” said DeVos.

According to preliminary data, the shooting began after the conflict of two teenagers in the club, which turned into a skirmish on the street outside the institution. 14 shells removed from the scene, the causes of the incident are established.

Also in the city of Cleveland, Ohio, a woman was killed in a shootout during a party of local rap musicians, seven people were injured. The conflict arose between the participants of the event in the club X-Rated, there was a fight, which escalated into a shootout, then the shooting continued on the street.

Police officers who arrived at the scene found a woman behind the bar with a gunshot wound to the head, she was hospitalized, but later died in hospital. All seven victims were also taken to medical facilities with gunshot wounds. The police reported that so far no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.
