In California, a woman lost her balance and fell when taking a selfie at a waterfall. As a result of the fall, she died, writes Fox News.

Authorities in North Tahoe reported that the body of a young woman was found in a bay in Emerland Bay State Park after she apparently fell during a shoot.
“Crews from the Tahoe Truckee Regional Rescue Team responded to a report from Eagle Falls in Emerland Bay. They found the body of a young woman who was photographing the falls and lost her balance and fell,” the statement said.

The authorities did not name the woman. They issued a warning so that visitors of the park would be more careful while walking along the paths.
“This is a sad reminder to be careful when taking selfies and other photos in hazardous areas. Do not underestimate the power of waterfalls, rivers and cold water temperatures,” the warning states.
Last month, police reported that a student at Oregon State University died trying to take pictures at a popular viewing platform in the mountains.
