California adopted scandalous provisions on the sexual education of children

Schools are not required to use new guidelines in their curriculum, and students may refuse to take lessons on sexual health. But the state requires students to attend lessons that explain gender identity, discrimination, and social issues, such as the Supreme Court's decision on same-sex marriage.
