In Israel, an employee shot himself because of accusations of racism
An Israeli immigration officer committed suicide after a scandal on social networks caused by a black woman’s racist appeal.
The unnamed woman wrote on Facebook that she complained to Ariel Ronis about discrimination in obtaining a passport for her son, and he responded by recommending that she disappear from his sight.
The post was distributed by thousands of users.
On Saturday night, Ronis wrote his own post, disproving the story of a woman. He stated that he had always supported equality and could not bear that his name now became synonymous with racism. Then he shot himself.
