A film about Ukrainian “cyborgs” was posted on the Internet
A documentary film “Airport” has appeared online, telling about Ukrainian soldiers - defenders of Donetsk airport. After the premiere on television, the video was posted on Youtube on the channel of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
“In this documentary, which was filmed about the events of the late summer-autumn 2014, details of the defense of Donetsk airport are reliably restored. The film shows the brave defenders of the DAP, who began to be called “cyborgs” for their courage, endurance, military victory and heroism,” says the commentary on the video.
The initiator of the filming of the documentary film "Airport" was the head of the Presidential Administration Boris Lozhkin. The film was ordered by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Scriptwriter: Alexey Goncharuk. The remaining members of the film crew have not yet decided in what composition to present their team.
The film was created over the course of a month and five days. The creative team members recorded 7 hours of interviews. The timing of the tape is 45 minutes. The film features 17 real heroes - “cyborgs”, soldiers from neighboring units, doctors, volunteers, and journalists. The main character - Colonel Redut - is precisely the person under whose command the soldiers of the Ukrainian army turned into “cyborgs”.
