On Facebook, Belarusians organized the “Party of Parasites”
Presidential decree Lukashenko “On the Prevention of Social Dependency,” popularly nicknamed the “decree on parasites,” encouraged Belarusian users of social networks to create specific groups and communities.
The “Party of Parasites,” created, as commentators write, on Facebook, by Monday evening had gained 1700 likes and a lot of reviews, from humorous to sharply critical of the authorities.
“I join you, together we are strong, we will force parasite officials and those who protect them to respect the Belarusian people,” writes someone under the name Alexander Selezen.
“Guys, let’s do something, since we are all parasites and there are many of us,” calls on user Anton Lauzin.
Users report the creation of the United Party of Parasites (UPT) on the Vkontakte network; the groups “Parasitism in Belarus” and “Against the tax on parasitism” appeared on social networks; The hashtag #Jesuistunjejadjec appeared on Twitter, where microbloggers discuss the presidential decree.
Judging by the remarks in social networks and comments on the statements of officials, a significant number of people in Belarus are alarmed by the prospect of being among the citizens suspicious of the state.
