The plane crash in the United States killed four people, including the famous traveler Wei Chen, who became famous for becoming the first person from China to fly around the world in a single-engine plane, writes “Today«.
The tragedy occurred on December 20 in the city of Atlanta, Georgia, shortly after the take-off of the Cessna 560 light-engine aircraft from the airport in Fulton County. He collapsed on the football field, located in the north-west of the city.

The aircraft was heading for the city of Memphis, writes The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, citing rescuers.
Because of the impact on the ground, the wreckage of the plane scattered over a radius of hundreds of meters, and its fire also occurred. The aircraft belonging was found out by the surviving tail, but the other three victims of the crash have not yet been identified.
The United States Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board have begun an investigation into the crash.
Chen made a trip around the world in 2011, which took him a little more than two months, and two years later his book about it, “Around the World in 69 Days,” was published.
