In Brooklyn, unknown assailant stabbed an elderly couple
A man and a woman were found dead in Brooklyn, police say.
The police said that on Wednesday, around 18: 45, they left to report a robbery. Upon arrival, law enforcement officers found 65-year-old Stephenson Bonaparte stabbed in front of his home in Winthrop Street between Rogers and Nostran Avenue Prospect-trees gardens.
The police added that this couple’s daughter ran out of the house and called 911.
When the police entered the house, they found his wife, 59-year-old Hazel Brown. She was dead, and her body had stab wounds.
The neighbor, who was walking at that moment, said that she saw Bonaparte unconscious on the ground, where food was also scattered. In her words, another man was trying to check the pulse of a man.
“He didn’t move,” she said. “The person who found him was trying to check his pulse, and I said it was better to call an ambulance or 911.”
The killed couple owned a shop two miles away (3,2 km) from the house where religious items were sold.
The police are still searching for the suspect and find out the motive for the crime.
