In Brooklyn, a young Hasid was beaten, police suspect anti-Semitism
22-year-old Yeshiva student 2 May was beaten by two African-Americans in the Crown Heights area of Brooklyn.
The attackers first stalked the victim for a while and then attacked him, threw him on the sidewalk and started kicking him, reports the publication The Jerusalem Post.
The victim managed to get up, he shouted and fled, which attracted the attention of the police, who detained the criminals. During the investigation, it turned out that both of the attackers were armed with knives and have a criminal background.
The father of the victim said that the criminals did not demand anything from his son.
“They just wanted to harm him, take his life,” the man said.

Since early April in Brooklyn, this is the third case of anti-Semitic attacks on a representative of the Jewish religious community of Chabad.
Similar attacks on religious Jews in the Crown Heights area were also carried out on 14 and 21 on April.
