In August, you can eat for free in restaurants in New York, Miami, Chicago and California

What could be better than ending a cheerful sunny day with dinner in a cozy restaurant? What if this dinner is completely free? Thanks to the Resy Tastemakers program this August, you're more likely to have the perfect summer day than you think. The edition told in more detail Yahoo!.

In an effort to highlight and support independent restaurants, Resy is teaming up with the American Express Shop Small campaign to cover the cost of dining for nearly 3200 people.

“Big ideas come from small restaurants, and throughout August we will help a younger generation of diners discover new places,” said Pablo Rivero, CEO of Resy and vice president of restaurants at American Express. “Whether you become a repeat customer or just try something new, supporting local restaurants means these small businesses will be part of the community for a long time.”

Every Wednesday from 9:00 am to August 30, Resy and American Express will pay bills at six or seven select restaurants in New York (NY), Los Angeles San Francisco (CA), Chicago (IL), Washington DC ) and Miami (Florida).

You only need to book through application or Resy website. Reservations open on Mondays at 10:00 local time (i.e. if you want to reserve a table for Wednesday, August 9, you need to update the Resy app at 10:00 on Monday, August 7 to catch your table). Your booking can include up to six people so that Amex and Resy will cover the $99 per person they promise, so no need to save.

Each day will include a new list of area gems.
