A ship with Ukrainians on board sank in the Atlantic: more than 10 people are missing
On September 26, the Bourbon Rhode ship disappeared as a result of a storm in the Atlantic Ocean, among the crew members of which were citizens of Ukraine. Writes about this “Ukrainian truth”.

“On September 26, in the Atlantic Ocean at a distance of about 1200 nautical miles from Martinique (an overseas department of France), the ship Bourbon Rhode, among whose crew members were citizens of Ukraine, disappeared as a result of a storm. The search operation is being carried out by the Maritime Rescue and Coordination CENTR Fort De France (MRCC),” said Vasily Kyrylych, Deputy Director of the Consular Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
The Consular Services Department liaises with the shipowner representative and the MRCC Regional Center. The Consul of Ukraine in France has established contact with the office of the shipowner company.
According to sources, the ship was about ten Ukrainians.

According to the latest data, three crew members rescued from a sunken ship Bourbon Rhode, two of which are citizens of Ukraine.
“According to the shipowner, when the ship was sinking, four rafts were used to rescue it. One raft was found. Three people were rescued, two of whom were citizens of Ukraine. The search and rescue operation continues,” Kirilich said.
