Two planes almost collided at Orlando airport: the incident was filmed
The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is investigating after two planes flew very close together at Orlando airport, reports ABCNews.

The agency said a Cessna 172 and a Delta Air Lines aircraft flew "in close proximity" to each other after taking off from Orlando International Airport on August 17.
The Cessna pilot said he was ordered to fly over the runway from which the Delta plane was taking off. Local10.
When both planes were in the air, they were separated by less than one and a half kilometers (a very small distance for aircraft).
Malik Clark, a Cessna pilot, said he was following air traffic control instructions and heading east when he saw a Delta plane on the runway.

"We thought he landed because we thought there was no way the air traffic controllers could put us in such a dire situation," Clarke said in an interview.
When he saw the Delta plane take off, Clark said he knew he had to react.
“I knew it was wrong,” Clark said. “So I immediately turned right as hard as I could because the Boeing 757 has a much higher climb rate than the plane I was flying.”
Clarke said he switched frequencies and did not contact air traffic control when a Delta jet flew under his plane.
A video posted by Clark on social media and filmed from the cockpit shows a Delta jet flying alongside a small aircraft. The pilots of both planes reported seeing each other, the FAA said.
Delta said it was "aware" of reports of the incident: "There is nothing more important than safety."

The National Air Traffic Controllers Association, which represents air traffic control, said it would not comment on ongoing FAA investigations.
