In 2022, the USA will have a very active hurricane season: what should Americans prepare for
The 2021 hurricane season was the third most active on record, and AccuWeather says the 2022 hurricane season, which starts on June 1, could be very similar. Read more about this publication Business Report.

According to the forecast in the Atlantic in 2022, there may be from 16 to 20 named storms, 6-8 of which may become hurricanes. Three to five of these hurricanes can be classified as strong, meaning that their wind speeds will reach 111 miles (178 km) per hour or higher.
Four to six hurricanes could have a direct impact on the US.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration predicts that La Niña will continue this summer, leading to high levels of tropical storm formation. If La Niña persists until September, it will be the third time since 1950 that such an occurrence has been observed for three consecutive hurricane seasons.
Colorado State University will release its first official forecast for the 7 season on April 2022.

An earlier forecast, released back in December 2021, said 13 to 16 named storms would form in the Atlantic this hurricane season, with six to eight becoming hurricanes and two to three becoming major hurricanes.
