In 2016, Apple fans should expect the appearance of two new Apple Watch models on the market at once.
This was told by investment analyst Min-chi Kuo, based on information from his own sources, writes AppleInsider.
The first will be equipped with a more powerful processor, produced by TSMC on 16 nm process technology. Also, the watch will be better protected from moisture.
The second gadget codenamed Apple Watch 2 will be similar in design to its predecessor, but the display will become thinner. The weight and thickness of the clock will not change due to the fact that the battery will be increased. Also in this version there will be a GPS and a barometer that will improve the work of geolocation services. The diagonal of the dial will remain the same, but the watch will receive full protection from water.
According to Kuo, another version of Apple Watch with LTE support will be released in 2017, that is, the watch can work independently of the iPhone. A complete update of the design of the gadget (it is possible that this will be a round screen) should be expected no earlier than 2018 of the year.
