USCIS Introduces Expedited Processing for Nonimmigrant Visas
US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced the expansion of the expedited processing program to applicants who submitted the form I-539 (application for extension/change of nonimmigrant status) in order to change the status to F-1, F-2, M-1, M-2, J-1, or J-2 nonimmigrant status.

Online form submission is now available for these applicants I-907 (request for premium processing service).
Expansion of access to accelerated processing occurs in stages:
- Beginning June 13, USCIS will accept Form I-907 (paper or online) from applicants who have previously filed Form I-539 to change status to F-1, F-2, M-1, M-2, J- 1 or J-2.
- Starting June 26, USCIS will accept Form I-907 along with Form I-539 from applicants wishing to change status to F-1, F-2, M-1, M-2, J-1, or J-2.

The Service will deny expedited processing requests for a pending Form I-539 if they are received before June 13th. USCIS will deny expedited processing requests if they are filed with Form I-539 by June 26th.
Important: you must file Form I-907 in the same format as Form I-539. That is, if you filed I-539 on paper, then I-907 must be filed on paper. If the I-539 was filed online, then the I-907 must be submitted in the same way.
