Hurricane Irma can reach the shores of South Florida on Saturday

The powerful 5 ballroom hurricane Irma can strike the Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, as well as South Florida. Early next week, South Carolina may be affected by the hurricane.

Hurricane Irma is the most powerful hurricane in the entire history of planet Earth. It grew from west to northwest at a speed of 26 miles per hour and kept the wind speed of 298 km per hour longer than all previously known hurricanes.

At the National Hurricane Center, the US warns residents of South Florida of the serious danger of destruction that elements can bring. Residents of the coastal areas of the United States hastily evacuated.

It is expected that the storm will reach South Florida on Saturday, then on Sunday Irma will turn north. The meteorologist predicts an error, so there is a possibility that a hurricane will affect the east coast of Florida, Miami, Fort Loverail, West Palm Beach, Melbourne, Dayton Beach and Jacksonville. Also, the west coast of Key West, Naples, Fort Myers, Tampa and Tallahassee may be affected.

According to forecasts, in the first half of Sunday Irma will be as close as possible to Florida with a power of 3-4 points. Authorities warn that a hurricane can damage the roofs and walls of buildings, uproot trees and turn cars around.

The hurricane will also bring floods. So, in the southeast of Florida is expected from 20 to 51 centimeters of precipitation. In addition to Florida, the effects of the hurricane may be felt by the states of Georgia, Young and North Carolina. Meteorologists predict that Irma may come to these states on Monday.
