Ukrainian freelancers can work with foreign customers without contracts

Now IT entrepreneurs and the banks servicing them need an invoice for the provision of services, which, together with the payment document, is a confirmation of the contractual relationship between the customer and the contractor.

The National Bank of Ukraine and the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade have significantly simplified the procedure for cooperation with banks of Ukrainian freelancers who provide their services abroad via the Internet.

According to the National Bank's Facebook social networking site, the list of freelancers includes programmers, designers, copywriters, translators, photographers, illustrators, operators of applications working in direct sales and stores, craftsmen, intermediaries for the sale of goods working on marketplaces, as well as site owners , bloggers.

The regulator noted in its letter to banks that now, in order to comply with currency legislation, IT entrepreneurs and the banks that serve them only need an invoice for the provision of services, which, together with a document confirming payment for the work, confirms the contractual relationship between the customer and the contractor. Previously, entrepreneurs had to provide a separate agreement with the “wet”, i.e. original, stamp.
