Ukrainians can now make an appointment at the consulate of New York and Chicago online
In the US, launched an online platform eConsulwhere anyone can apply for a Ukrainian biometric passport or update it.

Ukrainian citizens can now make an appointment for specific dates and times online, fill out an application in advance and come to the consulate for 5-10 minutes to complete the application process, take their photo and submit their fingerprints.

The project began with the Consulate General of Ukraine in New York, where 12 December 2017, an electronic booking reservation system appeared. Within a month after the launch of 320, Ukrainians successfully appointed a reception at a consulate in New York through a new platform. After seeing the effectiveness and popularity of the system, Consulates in Chicago and Dubai also asked for collaboration with the IT team Razom, and since January 2018, the electronic booking system has been operating in these cities. Two more consulates are in the process of introducing an electronic booking reservation system, but it is not specified which ones.
