Florida teacher sentenced to 22 years in prison for having sex with students

Florida school teacher Jennifer Fitchter was sentenced to 22 years in prison for intimate relationships with three teenage students. Fitchter admitted in 37 cases of sex with minors.

30-year-old Fitchter worked as an English teacher at Lakeland Academy in Florida, and all three teenagers were students at her school.

It was possible to discover the connection between the teacher and the students thanks to the mother of one of the students. She read the messages in her son's phone and found the correspondence of an intimate nature.

Parents of a teenager went to the police. According to the Orlando Sentinel newspaper, which refers to the police report, they managed to get a confession by recording the telephone conversation of the mother of the student and teacher, in which the latter confessed her love for the 17-year-old student, and also reported that she had sex with him from 20 to 30 time.

Fitchter told the student's mother that she did not regret what had happened and wanted to continue the relationship with him. She added that she got pregnant from a student and had an abortion.
