Scientists have confirmed that the 16-year-old guy from Florida was infected with the Keystone virus, which was previously observed only in animals, writes USA Today.
Researchers at the University of Florida have identified the Keystone virus in a teenager after he went to the clinic in August 2016. North central florida. Morris noted that while there is no specific treatment plan for the virus in humans.
"All types of this virus are transmitted by mosquitoes, but we don't fully understand the transmission rate of the disease," Morris said.
The only known way to prevent a virus is to avoid mosquito bites. The Environmental Protection Agency recommends wearing long sleeved shirts and trousers, is located in rooms where there are air conditioners, and use protective screens on windows and doors that will not let insects into the room.
