Murder of an immigrant from Belarus at a gas station in Texas: his wife shared details

On September 7, police discovered the body of a man at the Insta-Fuel Travel Center gas station in Buda, Texas. It turned out to be immigrant from Belarus Alexander Bushter. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Denis Cheredov from the Bureau YouTube channel talked with Alexander's widow.

Texas police have arrested a murder suspect. He turned out to be a Spanish-speaking resident of the state, Omar Guadalupe Galvan-Ochoa.

According to police, the man approached Alexander at a gas station and shot him in the back at least six times. The immigrant from Belarus died on the spot from his injuries.

The wife of the murdered man, Natalya Busher, told what is now known about the suspect and how the investigation is progressing.

“This is a man born in 1996. He is 27 years old. I found him on the Internet, he is from an ordinary family. True, he has a brother, a famous Spanish singer. He probably used drugs and killed a person,” says Natalya. “I can’t say that he is a drug addict, but at the time of the murder, he was under the influence of drugs.

However, the motive for the crime is still unknown.

“The detective told me that everything was very sad because he had no reason to kill. He took drugs and decided to kill people. It’s just that Sasha was the first one he came across,” continues Natalya. “As I understand it, he was standing at a gas station, Sasha drove up, he saw him, shot and drove on.”

Police said the suspect was under the influence of methamphetamine. Galvan-Ochoa is currently in prison.

“I spoke with the detective who is investigating the crime, the initial bail was $100 thousand. Later the detective said that it was already $350 thousand. But so far no one has come and paid,” says Natalya.

“Even the famous brother didn’t want to pay for it. When the situation became known, he wrote a post on Instagram that he had virtually no contact with his brother anymore, and therefore I do not think that he will pay bail for him. He also added that he is against any crimes. And expressed condolences to the family,” the widow continues.

When police came to her Florida home and reported her husband's death, she initially thought something had happened to him on the road.

“It was approximately 04:15. The doorbell rang. At first I didn't understand what was happening. I opened the door and there were 3 policemen standing there. Of course, I realized that something had happened. They said that Alexander had died. They didn’t tell me what happened, they gave me the detective’s number and said that I could find out everything there,” Natalya said. “I even told them that I most likely crashed because Sasha loved speed.” He had such a sin."

Later, Natalya called a detective, and he told her what happened.

“They shot him 6 times, but he only hit 3 times. “Everything is in the back,” says Natalya. “As I remember, Sasha didn’t even see him.”

Family friend created page on GoFundMeto help the family raise money for the funeral. In the US this is not a cheap thing.

“Right now I’m doing this, minimally, without a monument, it will be about $15,” says Natalya. “But it will be even more expensive for us, because we need to transport Sasha’s body from Texas. It will be by plane. The monument costs approximately another $000. But people have already collected more than $3000 thousand. We have no relatives here at all, we were each other’s support.”

“There are a lot of caring people in America. And my bosses allowed me not to work for several days, and everyone is helping as best they can,” the widow shared.

“We contacted the Belarusian diaspora, but they refused to publish our story,” says Natalya. - I do not know why".

“I would also like to add that everywhere they write that he still has a child. But in fact, he has three children,” says Natalya. — The eldest son lives in Poland, he is 26 years old. My daughter, who considered him her father, is 19. And our common son, he is only 9.”
