The head of the White House staff, John Kelly, hacked into a personal mobile
The administration of the President of the United States believes that the personal phone of the current head of the White House office, John Kelly, could have been hacked. About this newspaper writes Politico, with reference to three government employees.
The White House technical support service suspected hacking after Kelly complained about the incorrect download of updates. The official observed the incorrect operation of the phone for a month. In this case, access to information in the gadget, the attackers got more at a time when John Kelly led the Department of Homeland Security. Officials say that the hacked phone could have been back in December last year.
The incident raises concerns that hackers or foreign governments could gain access to Kelly's device data. At the same time, the representative of the White House said that since his appointment to the post in the administration of Donald Trump, the retired general rarely used his personal phone and held official talks on a job card.
