Doctors diagnosed the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDPR) Vladimir Zhirinovsky, who was hospitalized on February 2, with serious inflammatory processes in the brain.

The politician is in a stable serious condition and under the constant supervision of doctors.

Zhirinovsky is still on oxygen therapy. Oxygen is supplied by a high-flow ventilator.

At the same time, the Ministry of Health assesses the condition of the LDPR leader who was infected with COVID-19 as stable. According to the department, doctors continue to provide the policy with all the necessary medical care.

Vladimir Zhirinovsky was hospitalized on Wednesday, February 2. According to the Ministry of Health, this happened due to complications caused by the omicron strain.

Zhirinovsky was diagnosed with a coronavirus infection two weeks ago, subsequently he developed pneumonia, but the diagnosis was hidden for a long time at the request of the politician himself, reports RBC. The newspaper wrote that the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party had a significant lung injury, according to the Mash Telegram channel, it was about 50-75%. At the same time, the press service of the party stated that Zhirinovsky feels fine and continues to work.

On February 11, the Ministry of Health assessed the state of the politician as stable. "Doctors continue to provide all possible medical assistance in this situation," the spokesman said.
